Who owns an AI image??

 With the recent surplus of AI platforms, the question "Who owns an AI image??" has started trending. 

• one source stated that copyright is irrelevant because it is not about ownership and more about possession (Reuters)
• 
  another source says creative work with out human is not protected under copyright laws. "the U.S. Copyright Office will not register a work that was created by an autonomous artificial intelligence tool" (Forbes). 

For what I have found, it does not seem as though work created by AI can be owned by anyone; therefore, it is no considered under copyright laws. AI is like first come first serve, so if you create it using AI use it, but that does not mean it cannot be used by someone else, so we must be smart.
